Keeping Up Your Energy, Strength, and Hope

As we slowly adjust (or attempt to!) to the reality that Covid-19 and all of its challenges are not going away any time soon, and we are called to face and finally deal with the horrors of social/racial injustice, so many folks are finding that their stress coping mechanisms are overwhelmed or just plain fatigued. It takes a lot of energy to process all of this change and disruption!

So what can you do? Firstly, give yourself a little credit for all the non-tangible energy you have been exerting. Then explore new ways to replenish that energy, to find your calm, your strong, your resilience.

I’m very proud to offer some resources in this issue of Contentment magazine from the American Institute of Stress, an organization devoted to the science of resilience. Browse through and see what resonates for you and what might be helpful for keeping up your energy, strength, and hope.

And, as always, please reach out if I can be of help to you or your organization!
